ACTIVITIES
LYBRA’s founding members support many superyacht shows and events including the Monaco Yacht Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and aim to work closely with the organisations for the long term development and security of their shows. However, LYBRA has also taken the initiative to create and develop its own events in Barcelona and Palm Beach. LYBRA members are also active in many areas of policy and regulation which have resonance in the luxury yachting industry, such as Compliance, Tax and business ethics.
LYBRA is delighted to hold the first edition of the Nice Superyacht Days in the port of Nice in partnership with ECPY from June 22nd till June 24th, 2021.
This first edition which comes as the first yachting event on the Riviera since early 2020 will lay the foundation for a yearly event in the superyachts industry’s calendar. This ‘by invitation only event’ will offer an impressive line up of yachts for sale and charter.
This first edition will include a reduced line up of yachts to follow adequate sanitation protocol but we are planning to increase the total number of superyachts from next year onwards. This is an excellent opportunity to see yachts currently for sale and / or charter before the summer season starts.
PORT OF NICE
Organised by the Leading Yacht Brokers Association (LYBRA), The Superyacht Show is a unique alternative to the traditional trade show. Fully focused on the customer experience and used to showcase an unrivalled fleet of yachts available for sale and charter, the four-day show has been held each May since 2018 in Marina Port Vell, Barcelona.
More than just a show, a selection of handpicked luxury lifestyle brands, prestigious yachting companies and sponsors from across the globe complement the on-water display. Partners of the event have included Boeing Business Jets, Credit Suisse, Pommery Champagne, Triton Submarines, Bulgari Jewellery, Mandarin Oriental and Aston Martin.
MARINA PORT VELL
In 2019, the Leading Yacht Brokers Association (LYBRA) announced plans to hold an exclusive, annual, private event at the Rybovich Marina in West Palm Beach in March. This joint initiative brings together an exceptional selection of the finest superyachts from right across the world for both sale and charter.
The Superyacht Show, in cooperation with the Superyacht Builders Association (SYBAss) and the Superyacht Life Foundation allows buyers and charterers to step on board some of the finest superyachts in the world, in an exclusive, luxurious and private setting, just a few minutes’ drive from the heart of Palm Beach. Complementing the on-water display will be a hand-picked selection of new designs and innovations presented by some of the leading international shipyards.
